The Limassol Tourism Board organizes for the fifth year on the weekend 21 & 22 September 2024, 6pm to 10pm, at the Limassol Marina, the Sustainable Mobility Festival in the context of the European Mobility Week. The Festival features bicycle exhibition, the opportunity to ride an electric bike, electric vehicles and EV chargers, electric public transport, car sharing, bike sharing, educational and fun games, experiential activities and many surprises.
The event is aiming to encourage the public to adopt practices that will contribute to creating a more sustainable future for everyone and it is under the auspices of the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Dr. Maria Panayiotou. Participating organizations will promote the use of public transport, bicycles and electric vehicles as means of transportation to reduce emissions, encourage environmental protection and improve quality of life.
